The top new cable products seen at MD&M West

February 24, 2016 By Mary Gannon 1 Comment

It’s hard to believe that MD&M West was already two weeks ago, but we’ll continue to see news from many of the cable manufacturers that exhibited there. Here’s a quick rundown on the top new cable products I saw highlighted there.

Some of these technologies aren’t even official yet, as companies were just beginning to introduce products that won’t be on the market until later this spring.

A video showing some of the characteristics of a small selection of these products will be launched on this site in the next week, so stay tuned.

1. Stretchable cables

Its iStretch design is ideal for wearable medical devices and industrial robotics, said Tom Ashenbrenner, New Business Development Manager. This design is resistant to fatigue and features extremely high flex life and elasticity.
