4. Flat, easily terminated cables

Up next is Cicoil’s EZFlexx flat cables. Because of this new design, this cable is much easier to terminate and connectorize, said Jonathan Hinkley, western regional sales manager. This is possible because the cable elements and external Flexx-Sil jacket all present a round profile to be used with common stripping tools. Simply put, the jacket binds power, signal and tubing elements into a flat cable but these individual elements are easily separated for termination.

And, like all of Cicoil’s designs, it’s extremely flexible. The company dubs this its “flat cable for a round world.”
