July 13, 2016 By Marisa Martin Leave a Comment

The Lapp Group will debut its new SKINTOP Hygienic stainless steel cable gland and ÖLFLEX VFD 2XL symmetrical motor and drive cable at this year’s IMTS show.Lapp+Skintop+Hygienic

Lapp’s SKINTOP Hygienic stainless steel cable gland features FDA-approved material and meets IP68 and 69K standards. Designed to withstand high pressure and high temperature wash-downs, its special design prevents microorganisms and bacteria from sticking to the surface. A polyamide insert and special elastomer sealing element deliver additional food and beverage safety.

The new ÖLFLEX VFD 2XL symmetrical motor and drive cable from Lapp is rated for voltages as high as 2kV and is suitable for high horsepower applications. This large gauge cable offers three symmetrical grounds and features a helical copper tape shield and meets many key approvals. Robust, oil- and UV-resistant, it delivers a minimum bend radius of 15 x cable diameter.
