Industrial Ethernet cables for high-speed data transmission

January 27, 2014 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

Balluff-EthetNetCablesBecause of the growing acceptance of industrial Ethernet as the network of choice in industrial environments, Balluff Inc., Florence, Ky. has launched a line of industrial Ethernet cables, complete with M12 and RJ45 options.

While Cat5E is the base requirement for industrial Ethernet, when you are working with a specific network like EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, higher requirements are a must with the components in the network. What really helps or hinders the quality of the network is the cables because they connect everything together.
