TE Connectivity (TE) is featuring its end-to-end connectivity solutions designed for topside and down-hole harsh environment applications at the Oceanology International 2014, Booth # L350, March 11-13,  at the ExCel Center in London.

Among the subsea solutions on display will be the latest innovations from TE’s Raychem and Rochester product families. They include the following:

• TE’s Raychem custom shipboard cables provide weight-savings by packaging multiple cables into a single zero-halogen jacket per MIL-DTL-24640 specification. These cables are water-blocked, designed with RoHS compliant materials and can be used for a variety of applications including control, lighting, signal and power.

• TE’s Rochester umbilical and tether cables are designed for lifting applications in the harsh offshore and marine environments. These light-weight cables are small in diameter which provides longer length on current handling equipment. They feature high-voltage and high-temperature ratings, reduced diameter power conductors, screened twisted pairs for instrumentation and co-axial or databus for data and video.

• TE’s torque sensor module is designed for ISO type torque tools and is ideal for ROV use. These sensors control the valves, gates or any pipeline management devices in deep sea beds. The sensor module is designed for robustness and high reliability and offers high stability against shock, vibrations and humid corrosive environments.
