Cicoil now offers a cable mounting solution that makes it quick and easy to mount cables to any surface. Made of a fiberglass-reinforced ribbon, Cicoil’s StripMount option can be added to any Cicoil flat cable and is excellent in flexing and tight bend radius applications as well.
The patented StripMount design allows for holes to be easily drilled or punched through the reinforcement ribbon at whatever intervals you require. Cables with StripMount may be safely installed using rivets, self-tapping screws, or the diverse offering of quick-release metallic or plastic panel fasteners available.
Using StripMount equipped cables eliminates the need for costly and space consuming conduit and complex cable management hardware, greatly simplifying cable installation. Because Cicoil cables are flat, multiple cables can be stacked, drilled at the same time and securely attached to any surface with a single fastener.
The fiberglass-reinforced ribbon is encased in Cicoil’s exclusive Flexx-Sil rubber jacketing material and provides more than 250 lb holding force.
The StripMount option is available with most cables from Cicoil’s print and online catalog, or with any Custom Cicoil flat cable. In addition, the StripMount encapsulated cables are available in continuous lengths, cut to order, or as fully terminated assemblies.
Cicoil’s StripMount cable systems are Class 1 Clean Room Rated, RoHS & REACH Compliant, and are cured continuously, with no debris or material contamination in an automated, climate controlled environment.
