L-com Global Connectivity has released a new series of USB 2.0 compliant cables featuring a Type-C female panel-mount connector on one end of the assembly.
The new U3A00056 series cables were developed to address applications where a USB Type-C connection is required on a panel or enclosure. These unique cables feature twisted pair data lines to help reduce crosstalk, 30u gold-plated connectors that stand up to repeated mating cycles and double-shielded cable for superior EMI/RFI protection.
“Our new panel-mount Type-C USB cables are perfect for applications where a USB Type-C connection must be passed through a panel or enclosure. By using these integrated panel–mount connectors, the need for a standalone USB coupler is not necessary,” said Brian Gates, Product Manager.
