For the first time ever, woodworking machine manufacturer HOMAG has recognized the same company twice for its “Supplier of the Year” award, by honoring HELUKABEL, Elgin, Ill., as “Supplier of the Year 2012.” HELUKABEL originally was the recipient of this award in 1999. This is the first time that HOMAG has given the award twice to a supplier for excellent quality and on-time deliveries.
HOMAG’s “Supplier of the Year” award is judged by a panel consisting of quality management, purchasing, and R&D representatives. Suppliers eligible to receive the award, each of which must meet a certain minimum revenue level, are scored on various criteria such as quality, logistics, on-time delivery and service. HELUKABELwas selected as this year’s award winner from a supplier pool of about 50 vendors.
