FDA-compliant M12 cables for food and beverage applications

June 26, 2019 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

AutomationDirect now offers harsh duty micro cables that are FDA compliant for food and beverage applications. The new FDA-compliant M12 quick-disconnect cables are IP69K rated to withstand high pressure, high temperature wash-down applications.

AutomationDirect FDA-compliant M12 cables for food and beverage applicationsThese harsh-duty quick-disconnect cables and patch cables are used to easily connect field devices in industrial installations. The FDA compliant IP69K rating and food grade TPE-S (Styrene-Butadiene Thermoplastic Elastomer) jacket makes them ideal for food and beverage applications. The blue color of the jacket material assists in detection if cables come in contact with food processes.

Starting at $12.00, the cables are available in 8 cable lengths from 2 to 25 m with an industry standard axial or right-angle 12 mm connector on one end and open leads on the other. Patch cables, priced from $18.00, have one male and one female M12 plug connector and are available 1, 3, and 5 m cable lengths.

The IP69K-rated, FDA compliant micro (M12) sensor cables are UL approved and backed by a one-year warranty.
