Expanded SealJack cable applied series from Stewart Connectors

July 19, 2017 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

Stewart IP67CableAppliedDSC_0366_smallStewart Connector, a Bel group company, has launched the SealJack cable applied series, providing reliability and functionality that is necessary when Ethernet is utilized in harsh environment applications. It can support connectivity for devices within the Internet of Things (IoT) umbrella where reliability and functionality are necessary as Ethernet applications move from a typical office to harsher environments.

These IP67-rated cable assemblies are pre-assembled and can be customized with IP67 and RJ45 ends using CAT5e or CAT6 shielded/unshielded cable, offered in a variety of lengths depending on the application requirements.

Stewart’s Modular Plugs use a load bar and wire aligner for consistent and reliable connections with the cable while a robust IP67 shell ensures environmental factors will not interfere with either data or power over Ethernet (POE) transmission. The Modular Jacks use fast and convenient punch down IDC termination for continuous connection. For field termination requirements, Stewart Connector offers an IP67 rated plug kit.
