Cable assemblies now available in M12 connector types

June 28, 2022 By Aimee Kalnoskas Leave a Comment

CUI Devices’ Interconnect Group today announced the introduction of circular cable assemblies to its cable assemblies portfolio. Available in M12 connector types, CUI Devices’ CDM12 family offers a range of male or female plug versions and contact position options of 3, 4, 5, 8, and 12 pins. These M12 cables are A-coded to support 1 Gbit Ethernet and carry IP67 ratings to deal with harsh environments found in industrial and factory automation applications. They are also designed to mate with CUI Devices’ existing line of M12 circular connectors featuring male or female jack versions.
Offering cable lengths of 1, 2, or 3 meters with wire gauges from 26 to 22 AWG, these M12 circular cable assemblies feature a PVC jacket material and are blunt cut on one end. The models carry voltage ratings from 30 to 250 Vdc, current ratings from 1.5 to 4 A, and M12 x 1.0 thread pitches. Shielded circular cable assemblies are available as well as straight or right-angle plugs.
The CDM12 series are available immediately with prices starting at $11.07 per unit at 250 pieces through distribution. Please contact CUI Devices for OEM pricing.
